I started working in Factual Television In 1999, at a small production company called Invincible Films. My role included DV Filming, Avid editing, researching, and organizing shoots.
I then spent a number of years doing Visual Effects (Graphics) for Feature Films such as
Superman, War Horse, Robocop, Batman (The Dark Knight), James Bond, and Guardians of the Galaxy II.
I decided to return to Factual Television in 2018, and since then I've been working on wildlife films with Plimsoll Productions and the BBC Natural History Unit.
I'm also currently studying a part-time BSc in Biology at the Open University. It is a completely remote-learning course which allows me to fit studying around normal working hours.
